Township Awarded OPWC Grant for 2019

In October 2018, the trustees submitted an application to OPWC (Ohio Public Works Commission) for a grant to resurface Township Road 60 one mile north of State Route 95 and one mile south of State Route 95.

The total engineer's estimate for this project is $282,898.08. The township received the award letter from the OPWC in May 2019 approving the grant. Bids were advertised and opened at the end of June 2019. Shelly & Sands, Mansfield, Ohio, came in with the lowest bid at $296,232.48. The township will be responsible to cover 26% of the total cost of the project.
